CONTINIA - Senior Cloud Engineer

Join Continia and play a key role in our Infrastructure & Business Applications team! We’re migrating our on-premises infrastructure to Azure, and we're looking for a skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to help us build secure and scalable Azure foundation to power our growth.  Are you passionate about Azure, security best practices, and building scalable infrastructure? About your role

At Continia, we empower businesses with cutting-edge software solutions. As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of our cloud environment in Azure. This involves designing, implementing, and securing our Azure environment, working with technologies like Entra ID, Office 365, Intune, Defender for Cloud, VMs, networking, and more. As we’re in the midst of implementing CIS v8, you will be part of implementing security controls guided by these best practices.

This role is about more than just technology; it's about leading the charge in automating our security and resilience efforts while being a key part of our daily IT operations. You'll be a crucial member of the team technically responsible for all our business applications, collaborating with engineers, application owners, and stakeholders across Continia. What you will be doing:

• Design, build, and maintain Azure infrastructure, ensuring security, scalability, and reliability.
• Manage key Azure services, including Entra ID, Office 365, Intune, and Defender for Cloud.
• Design, implement and maintain CIS security controls within our Azure environment.
• Automate routine Azure administration and security tasks using scripting and other automation tools.
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure adherence to security policies and regulations.
• Provide technical guidance, support and troubleshooting within and outside the team.

We imagine you have the following qualifications and characteristics:

• 5+ years of experience in IT systems engineering, with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure and security.
• Extensive experience with the Azure cloud platform, including Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, and other services like VMs, networking, and storage.
• Solid understanding of Azure security best practices and experience implementing security controls.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both techies and business stakeholders.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
