Astex Engineering is a manufacturer for demanding machined parts in Lappeenranta, Finland. Complex single pieces and prototypes form a large part of our production. We are looking for professionals who are capable of demanding CNC machining tasks. Modelling is done using for example SolidWorks or AutoCAD and for program making we use Mastercam; knowledge in these is required. You must be able to do: - blank and tool selection and design - fasteners design - machining first piece - set up and first piece manufacturing. Our machines have Fanuc or Haas control. Education: Appropriate training is, for example, a technician or engineer training. Experience: More than 7 years of experience is necessary. English and/or Russian is rquired. Full time/2-shift work. Salary: negotiable/depending on qualification (U.S Dollars 30,000 - 40 000 P.A). Various rented accomodation available. Send applications to aila.taylor@astex.fi.
