We are are looking for a second chef for the summer period in 2023 - 10/06 - 20/09. Small, exclusive hotel with 17 rooms/ junior suites. High standard menus/ 3-4 dishes in the evening. New nordic kitchen with local produce. No a-la-carte, no lunch. Working time from 13 - 21, 6 days per week in a well equiped kitchen with experienced owners.
Longer employment possible if interested. Work language english/ norwegian.
We offer simple house/board options in cute timber cabins with nice view or can help with finding something else nearby.

The small historic Hindsæter Hotel is situated along the touristic road over Valdresflya at 950 masl with a stunning view over the valley and Jotunheimen National Park, just 15 km from Besseggen / Gjende, 2 hours drive north of Lillehammer. 17 rooms/ junior suites in farm lodge style, renovated in 2020.
Our kitchen philosophy is based on the new nordic kitchen. Sustainability and local ingredients from local producers are our work focus, especially reindeer from the local reindeer company. No convenience. We serve one set menu in the evening for max. 40 guests. No a-la-carte, no lunch. Working time from 1pm to 9pm.
