Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter at Offjord Entreprenør, you will play a vital role in the construction process, ensuring precision, quality, and safety in all your work. You will work on a variety of projects, contributing to the creation of outstanding structures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and plans.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials (wood, metal, fiberglass, etc.).
• Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, cabinets, and moldings.
• Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures.
• Ensure compliance with Norwegian building codes and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other team members and contractors.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
• Uphold high standards of workmanship and attention to detail.

• English or/and Latvian proficiency at level B1-B2, Norwegian is a big plus.  
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Carpenter in construction or a related field.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods.
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
• Strong safety mindset.
• Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in residential renovations, Commercial Construction, New Home Construction, Custom Woodworking, Restoration and Preservation, Deck and Outdoor Structures, Formwork and Concrete Construction, Carpentry in Sustainable Building, Interior Fit-Out, Infrastructure and Civil Construction:
