Interest in a technical environment is a must here - we are therefore a high-tech, innovative company - so that you can quickly familiarize yourself with parts, suppliers and/or processes. Achieving competitive pricing from our suppliers, without sacrificing quality, that's what your mission as a buyer is all about! You master the strategic, tactical and operational procurement process and report directly to the team leader. You optimize your purchasing package in close cooperation with internal customers, the purchasing department and other divisions and production units. No specific technical background is required for this position. We count on your healthy interest and intrinsic motivation to gain knowledge of (technical) components and/or suppliers. A solid insight into the supply chain and all related processes is of course crucial. - Draw up framework contracts with suppliers and follow up on the basis of: quality, delivery reliability, product and process development and total cost. - Responsible for the entire purchasing process and production development processes. - Discuss purchase contracts and actively maintain and cultivate supplier relationships. - Optimize the supply chain process from order to delivery and ensure on-time deliveries. - Think along about non-commodity driven projects and optimisations. - With the Atlas Copco objective as a basis, you work together with your team leader on a strategic annual plan with a product group analysis and an overview of the opportunities.
