Baker/Pastry Chef

Flåm Bakery opened in 2016 and has been a success right from the start. We deliver high quality bread, pastries and pizza to both locals and tourists. We are a proud craft bakery where guests stand in line on summer mornings to get fresh produce. We have a wide range of products including traditional Norwegian sweet buns and international classic pastries. In addition, our guests can find local juices, sandwiches, and great barista coffee during a visit at the Flåm Bakery.

We will now strengthen the team and are looking for you who is passionate about baking for a permanent position in a growing company. You will be part of a small and committed team, delivering baked goods and help lift the bakery concept in Norway's best.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate production of the day
• Concept and product development
• Close collaboration with the other bakers and service team
• Daily cleaning and maintenance of baking machines
• “IK-Mat” compliance 

 Starting date: as soon as possible, according to agreement

•  Permit to work within the EU (we are unfortunately not able to process applications from citizens from outside EU/EES)
• Has a certificate as a baker – or a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a baker from an artisan bakery
• Profficient in English 

• Is warm, open, and friendly
• Likes to work in an environment with mutual respect and cooperation
• Is efficient and works neatly
• Is professional and personal in meetings with colleagues and guests
• Is structured and accurate
• Is positive and outgoing and can handle a sometimes-busy workday.
