As a Backend Python Developer for Catena Media you would be responsible for the production of code in our systems. We are looking for excellent developers to join our growing team. Ideally you are a strong team player, with a can-do approach and needs minimal supervision. You have great passion for code, performance and new technologies. We shall be considering Developers at different levels, from 1 to 4 years’ experience.

Responsibilities

• Write technical, as well as non-technical, specifications and record all procedures

• Work closely with all members of the Agile team, to deliver high-quality code, that is tested and delivered across the full software development life cycle

• Develop and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools

• Participating in a team-oriented environment to develop complex web-based applications

• Have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and be able to work on your own initiative

• Ensure all code is tested and code reviewed to the highest standards

Requirements

• Strong Python development experience

• In depth knowledge of NoSQL database

• Full stack experience: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery 

• Good understanding of OOP

• Web Services

• Social App Development 

• Records of developing for iPhone, Android, Amazon/Kindle and Facebook apps.

• Agile practices ( Scrum master certificate is a plus )

• Lightweight Framework Experience 

• Experience with versioning systems (SVN, Git,…)

• Knowledge of Pandas considered a plus

• Experience with Big Data a plus

• Knowledge of SEO, would be considered a plus

• PHP 5 experience a plus ( Laravel would be an asset )
