Advanced Supplier Quality Engineer (ASQE)

Presently we are looking forward to welcoming in our European Supplier Quality team a person with a robust personality, an in-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, and broad quality experience.

Quality, reliability and world-class products While working with us, you will pro-actively ensuring supplier and internal conformance at a launch of sourcing and New Product Development projects through the use of advanced quality planning tools. You will provide front-end support for business case preparation, and you will prepare our suppliers for successful PPAP submission. Finally, you will work closely with internal and external partners to improve a quality of products and processes, and you will have the opportunity to strengthen your professional and personal skills by keeping Danfoss up to market leader performance.

We expect that: •You will able to take responsibility for solid, fact-based feasibility studies for sourcing and New Product Development projects. •You will ensure that suppliers understand Danfoss requirements/expectations and do everything needed to start series production flawlessly. •In a case of quality problems caused by mistakes during project implementation, you will remedy them and make sure they will not occur again. It will be in your remit to build strong networks with our key stakeholders. To align our business internationally, you will improve our suppliers’ quality performance and secure customer satisfaction. Yearly travel activity of approx. 60-80 days is expected. Strong technical background and experience within manufacturing and process control You have minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering or Electronic Engineering and you have experience in manufacturing, product launching, and process control. Furthermore, you have experience in quality control, and through your previous jobs, you have obtained practical knowledge of APQP, ISO/TS 16949 Requirements, PPAP and Change Control. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and you are comfortable taking on project management responsibilities independently. You are analytical and have an ethical and organized customer focus that drives you towards results. Finally, you speak and write English fluently.
