MovieStarPlanet needs a talented and experienced Graphic Artist to to help us expand our game worlds and online community.
MovieStarPlanet is one of the world’s most popular social games for tweens, available in 15 countries and 11 languages. BooniePlanet and RoboblastPlanet are our exciting new additions to our games portfolio which we hope will enjoy similar success!
Our visuals are a huge part of our identity and are cherished by millions of kids all over the world!
About the Job
As part of a closely knit art team, your role will be to be to imagine, research, design and finally produce exciting and relevant assets for our game universe. These assets include:
•Clothing
•Hair styles
•Accessories
•Props/items
•Backgrounds
•Patterns
•Animations
•Marketing materials
About You
You are an enthusiastic, creative and professional individual who takes pride in delivering a quality artwork on a daily basis.
As a Content Artists at MovieStarPlanet you will recieve a great deal of freedom (and therefore resposibility) with regards to the content you will create. Therefore it's vitally important that you thrive on coming up with exciting new ideas to please our target audience!
Must haves:
•Strong vector illustration and 2D animation skills
•Skilled in Flash and other Adobe creative products
•Interest in creating fresh and imaginative content for the tween market
•A strong understanding of fashion, style, pop culture and youth trends
•The creative energy to consistently bring forward new ideas for in game content
•Comfortable working in a fast paced production environment
•Ability to adapt your style to a given art direction
•Good team player
Desirable:
•1+ years of professional Content Artist experience in the field of creative media
•Education in an art & design related subject
•Good all round graphic design skills (e.g. UI, posters, icons, etc)

MovieStarPlanet ApS is the company behind MovieStarPlanet.com, Boonieplanet.com and RoboBlastPlanet.com - games and social networks for tweens aged 8-15 years. In vitual worlds each user designs their own MovieStar avatar, Robot or Boonie, which can be used for creating small cartoon-like movies, chat, design looks, artbooks and clothes, and play games with other users.
Launched in Denmark in 2009, MovieStarPlanet ApS has since experienced explosive growth. Currently, the website is live in 11 European markets as well as the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Globally it ranks among the fastest growing virtual worlds for the target group with more than 200 million registered profiles.
MovieStarPlanet ApS employs +100 staff and the Head Office is based in the attractive surroundings of the new and modern part of Copenhagen called Ørestad, located very close to the city center and the metro line.
