On May 25th, you will have the opportunity to meet and make contact with Danish employers in these sectors and gain some more insight on searching for a job, living and working in Denmark in particular. You will be offered a thorough support package to your job search in Denmark.You can follow a Programme, also to be streamed live, with companies’ presentations on their recruitment needs and what they expect from you. And, if applying to jobs beforehand, you might even be invited for an interview onthe day.
This event, organized together by EURES Portugal and EURES Denmark (integrated in IEFP, the Portuguese Public Employment Service, and Work in Denmark, the Danish Public Employment Service for highly qualified international jobseekers looking for a career in Denmark), will take place in Lisbon, atthe Portuguese Engineers Order, our host.

Workindenmark assists Danish companies in finding highly qualified foreign candidates and helps foreign jobseekers in finding work and establish a working life in Denmark.

All the authorities a foreign employee typically needs to contact are represented at International Citizen Service in Aalborg, Aarhus, Copenhagen and Odense. So in most cases a foreign employee and his/her family only need to visit International Citizen Service in order to get the paperwork done and find answers to possible questions.

- Apply, during the next few weeks, to jobs matching your profile, and maybe be preselected for one or more interviews;
- On May 25th:
- make first contact with Danish employers and EURES Advisers at the stands;
- take part in company presentations;
- attend a workshop on living and working in Denmark;
- Benefit from (previously appointed) on-the-spot or online recruitment interviews with employers.

HOW TO PREPARE FOR A SUCCESSFUL PARTICIPATION?
· Register as a visitor (entrance is free of charge, but previous registration is compulsory, since limited places are available) ; see how by watching this video
- Study / research the available information on the participating companies and info points, their main projects and recruitment profiles / needs;
- Search for the jobs for which you gather all or most of the requirements and apply to those matching your profile;
Participating companies may invite you for one or morerecruitment interviews on May 25th. In case you’re preselected, you will get a notification fromthe employer(s) on the possible time slots for interview, to which you should answer ASAP.

· If participating onsite, we advise you to save the whole day;
· If only online, please check the final version of the Programme a few days before the event; get organized to watch and interact in the presentations which may of interest to you (you can be selective);
· The ideal approach is for you to apply to jobson the platform beforehand ; however, you should always bring with you one or two printed CVs in English as well, namely if you intend to benefit from EURES advice;
· When approaching employers, a careful look & professional attitude is important, but also a good level of English and a positive and assertive attitude; also the demonstrated knowledge regarding the companies and their main projects will make the difference. The nearest international airport is Lisbon (Portela) Airport.
From there, you can reach the Engineers’ Order by car / taxi / subway in 20-25 minutes.
If you choose the subway, take the red line up until “S. Sebastião” stop, then change to the blue line heading to “Sta. Apolónia” and leave in “Parque” stop.
By train> subway
If coming from out of Greater Lisbon by train, you could leave in 3 train stations, all of them with good connections to the Order by subway:
- Oriente(20 to 25 minutes): take the red lineup until “S. Sebastião” stop, then change to the blue line heading to “Sta. Apolónia” and leave in “Parque” stop;
- Santa Apolónia (10 to 15 minutes): take the blue line heading to “Amadora Este” and leave in “Parque” stop;
- Entrecampos(15 to 20 minutes): take the yellow line heading to “Rato” and leave in “Picoas” stop.
