Welcome to Swedish Day 2025, an online event organized by EURES Sweden Arbetsförmedlingen!
Join us on November 20th, with sessions taking place from 11:30 - 14:30 and 17:00 - 20:00 (CET).
Swedish employers are actively seeking skilled professionals across various industries. This is your opportunity to connect directly with recruiters, explore job opportunities, and take a step toward working in Sweden.

In preparation, we also offer pre-sessions starting in October, designed to help you get the most out of the event. These sessions will provide insights into the participating employers, their vacancies, and what it is like to live and work in Sweden.

Swedish Day är ett rekryterings event online där du som arbetsgivare erbjuds att, helt kostnadsfritt, möta och rekrytera kvalificerade kandidater från samtliga EU/EES länder.
Eventet anordnas av Arbetsförmedlingen Eures på online-plattformen European Online Job Days.
Swedish Day riktas mot bristyrkes branscher såsom hälso- och sjukvård, djursjukvård, IT, teknik och industri, gruvnäring, pedagogik och besöksnäring.
I vårt paket ingår följande:
- En digital monter på event portalen där du presenterar ditt företag och
- Annonserar lediga tjänster
- Minst två live sessioner à 20 minuter under eventet, där du informerar om er verksamhet och lediga tjänster samt tar emot och svarar på frågor från kandidater.
- Intervjua kandidater som sökt en ledig tjänst hos dig, dessa kan du välja att intervjua vid valfritt tillfälle

Om din organisation består av flera avdelningar som önskar delta i eventet rekommenderar vi att varje avdelning registrerar var sitt konto. På så sätt exponeras varje avdelning för sig och det blir lättare för dig att hantera ansökningarna.
Annonsering
För att du ska få bästa möjliga genomslag i marknadsföringen av era lediga tjänster är det viktigt att annonsera dessa på event sidan så snart som möjligt!
Matchningen av registrerade kandidater sker via event-plattformen. För ett lyckat resultat är det viktigt att vara tydlig i beskrivningen av tjänstens innehåll och krav på kvalifikationer. Kom ihåg att skriva annonstexten på engelska. Erbjuder ni flera tjänster inom olika yrkeskategorier går det bra att registrera en samlings annons.
I annonseringen har du möjlighet att hänvisa sökande även till företagets egna karriär sidor. Observera dock att event-plattformen är uppbyggd för att sökande ska söka tjänsterna genom plattformen. Därför är det viktigt att du fortlöpande loggar in på plattformen för att fånga upp kandidaterna.
Boka online-intervjuer
Plattformen har även en intervju funktion men vi har valt att låta er arbetsgivare välja era egna intervju verktyg. Detta betyder att ni kan genomföra intervjuerna i takt med att ansökningarna inkommer. Kom ihåg att informera kandidaterna om detta i er annons.
Vi rekommenderar att ditt företag spelar in en kort video där ni informerar om företaget, vilka lediga tjänster ni erbjuder och hur kandidater kan kontakta er. Ni kan själva lägga in videon i er digitala monter eller skicka den till european-jobdays@arbetsformedlingen.se så gör vi det. Vi kan även hjälpa till med själva inspelningen av videon.
Efter du har registrerat din medverkan kommer vi att kontakta dig då vi berättar mer om upplägget och hur du på bästa sätt förbereder dig inför event dagen.
Vi kommer även att erbjuda workshops under oktober månad.

Join us on November 20th, with sessions taking place from 11:30 - 14:30 and 17:00 - 20:00 (CET).
In order to get the most of this event, you should:
- Improve your profile / CV
Pay attention to your language, technical or soft skills, as well as educational fields. If you haven’t done so yet, we strongly advise you to have your CV uploaded in English or have it retrieved from the EURES portal. You can as well add your LinkedIn profile or any online portfolio.
- Apply for jobs & confirm your attendance to interviews
There will be plenty of jobs waiting for you on the platform. Browse through these vacancies and apply as soon as possible to those matching your skills and expectations. Uploading your CV is not enough, the employer can only view your profile/ CV when you apply for their jobs.
Companies may also invite you for one or more online interviews, to take place before, on or after the event day.
In case you are pre-selected, you will get a notification by the employer(s) and possible time suggestions for interview(s), to which you should answer as quickly as possible.
Pre sessions
Before the event we will invite registered participants to an information meeting (pre-sessions) to learn more about Sweden and the participating employers. This will be done from the end of October at least once a week until 19th November.

On the event day 20th November
On the event day, you can attend live presentations from the companies and be able to meet and listen to the employers and ask your questions.
You will be able to post your questions in the general chat that will be offered on the event-page.
You can also watch us live, learning more about Sweden and the participating employers and what opportunities there will be for you.
Prepare for the interview(s)
In order to better prepare, you should thoroughly research available information on the participating companies their main projects and recruitment needs. Select the companies you want to approach, identify the questions you may want to ask and try to anticipate possible questions from the employer.
A cared personal look is important (even if the interview is online) and a good level of English combined with a positive attitude, will prove highly beneficial.
Please make sure, ahead of the day of an online interview, you have access to:
- PC, laptop, tablet / iPad or another mobile device plus a headset with a microphone and a webcam.
- a stable internet connection
If you are not an EU/EEA or Swiss citizen
Please bear in mind that, while you may participate in this event and use the www.europeanjobdays.eu platform for job search and meeting employers, you will still have additional legal obligations and administrative procedures to go through to get access to the European labour market.
We advise you to check beforehand for additional information:
- the basic EU labour market accessing principles for different non-EU country nationals,
- the EU Immigration Portal
You should also be aware that employers may decide not to go through your application, due to the expected length of immigration procedures related to your hiring.

EURES Targeted Mobility Scheme (TMS) Sweden
Makes it easier to move and work in EU.
The aim of this EU financed EURES TMS Sweden project is to match skilled candidates across EU with employers with hard to fill vacancies. Based on certain conditions, financial support can be provided to jobseekers and employers from an EU country, Norway, or Iceland.
Job seekers
- 18 +
- Citizen or long-term resident of an EU country, Norway, or Iceland
- Willing to relocate for a job in another EU Member State, Norway or Iceland for at least 6 months
Job seekers may be eligible for financial support to cover some of the costs for a job interview, relocation, family, language training and/or recognition of qualifications.
Employers
- Based in an EU country, Norway or Iceland
- Recruiting skilled workers from another EU country, Norway or Iceland
- Offering employment for 6 months or longer
Employers with less than 250 employees, may be eligible for financial support to cover some of the costs to implement an integration programme for newly recruited workers relocating from another EU country, Norway or Iceland.
