Wellness therapist professionally performs a variety of massages (classic, aromatherapy, sports, reflexology, hot stone, etc.) and applies body and facial treatments, including peelings, wraps, anti-cellulite treatments, and lymphatic drainage. They adapt treatments to the individual needs and health conditions of guests, identify guest preferences, and recommend the most suitable treatments and products. The therapist provides advice on skincare, relaxation, and healthy habits, while ensuring discreet and pleasant communication to create a sense of trust and safety.
Responsibilities also include preparing and maintaining treatment rooms (music, lighting, scents, hygiene), ensuring cleanliness, aesthetics, and sterility according to the highest standards, properly using and cleaning equipment, and complying with all sanitary and safety regulations. Therapist coordinates with reception regarding appointments and special requests, assists in organizing daily schedules and events, and actively participates in promoting wellness programs and packages.
- High school diploma
- Certified education for massages and treatments (e.g. classic, sports, aromatherapy, reflexology, Ayurveda, etc.)
- Additional certificates for wellness and spa treatments (e.g. facial and body cosmetic treatments, peeling, wraps, hydrotherapy)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, kindness and guest-oriented mindset
- Excellent command of English
- Previous experience in tourism in the same or similar positions
- Knowledge of additional European languages (German, Italian, etc.)
