Gabriella is the owner of Azienda Agricola Minuzzo, she has her own vineyard and winery, and she also manages the ‘Maison d' Hotes Victoret’, a bed and breakfast with 3 bedrooms, perfect location for the visitor to be able to discover the beautiful Aosta Valley.
The business is family-run since it is a vineyard that covers an area of one hectare. It’s located at about 700 meters above sea level in Challand Saint Victor, a village of 600 inhabitants located in Val d'Ayas.
We are looking for a trainee who can assist in the activity of the vineyard, in the cellar, and in the B&B Maison d'Hotes Victoret.
It is important that the person that will join us loves to work in the nature, as the majority of the activities will be outside in the vineyard. We are also looking for someone that can communicate well with people. Some of the activities also include wine testing with groups of guests and visits to the winery.
Flexibility is very important as the job requires taking care of different activities and can be schedule a day-by-day basis.
We are looking for someone that is respectful and willing to learn and that can cope well in a small business environment.
Gabriella will provide training support to all the activities.
She will also support with the logistic and the search of the apartment, to smooth up the process.
A bicycle can be assigned for the traineeship period for the short shifts to the village.
Working Hours: 30
6 hours a day/ 5 days a week
From 07 to 10 and from 4PM to 7PM local time
Day off Thursday and Sunday
Salary: 500€/Month
HE VINEYARD
The trainee will be focused on the spring/summer maintenance of vineyards and growing vines.
He/She will also irrigate the wine yard if the weather will be too dry.
Winery workers carry out tasks that sometimes can be repetitive but in an open hair and healthy scenario.
THE WINERY
He/She will support activities such as bottling wine, labelling the bottles, and assisting in welcoming guests/customers coming to buy the product or interested in wine tasting. All the information about the different kind of wines will be provided to the trainee.
THE BED & BREAKFAST
The trainee will cooperate on the maintenance and irrigation of the green areas around the propriety as well as in the vegetable garden. He/she will also help in welcoming guests and helping in serving breakfast. It might be asked to translate and to write some touristic suggestions for the guests.
