The job:
As a technician, you will join our technical team, under the direction of our technical supervisor. We work in a shift system to provide as much technical support as possible for our production department.
Together with the team you take care of installing, maintaining and repairing our machinery & buildings according to the planning as defined by our Technical Supervisor. You will participate under supervision in technical support within all departments : electricity - mechanics - building equipment - HVAC - automation. Maintaining our workshop & materials is also a priority, so that everything is always available in good condition. You will assist in applying our waste policy and process. Finally, applying order, cleanliness and safety on the shop floor, workshop and all working conditions is also a very important part of your job. You will also apply the ERP/maintenance Software.
Technical secondary education or equal by experience.
Job-related competences
Connecting a computer to equipment and detecting faults using recorded programmes
Identify, repair or replace the components of faulty systems (gear sets, ball bearings, hydraulic distributors, components of controlled processes, etc.)
Check the work of suppliers or service providers
Modify or adapt equipment according to legal or production requirements (production rate, new products, etc.)
Follow up and analyse the maintenance data of a workshop or service and identify discrepancies (costs, unexpected expenses, inventory of loose parts, ...)
Record the follow-up data of interventions and transmit the information to the relevant department
Work on: Pumps
Adjust industrial or operating equipment and check its operation
Working on: Electric motors
Updating the technical documentation of machines or installations (manufacturer's guidelines, history of defects, legislation, etc.)
Organising, planning and following up preventive or corrective maintenance work
Locating an installation fault and determining technical solutions and repair conditions
Working on: blowers
Assembling parts or pieces of industrial or operating equipment according to machine specifications, documentation, etc.
Explaining technical operation to customers or users and assisting them in commissioning the installation
Provide technical assistance to a maintenance team or a production or operation team
