Due to the growing demand for our innovative and intelligent solutions, we are looking for a Systems Architect, who can contribute to the development of our future systems.

With direct reference to our Team Lead - Solution Architects you will be part of a team of 10 Systems Architects, who are responsible for guiding the developing features and platforms for Kamstrup’s advanced metering systems. In the team, we have a strong focus on collaboration, knowledge sharing and value creation, in order to achieve the best possible results. Experimentation and finding a smarter solution is the main driver in our work.



A job with focus on systems thinking and user-driven innovation

As our new Systems Architect, you will get a key role in developing Kamstrup’s advanced metering systems, which will support our customers in their journey towards the digitalization of their operation. High professionalism and the ability to create and transform a vision and roadmap for Kamstrup systems into reality are key parameters for success.

You will work with the full design life cycle from idea to the final production. This includes assessing and applying new technologies and tolls in order to implement a future-proof system platform. Furthermore, you will create new features in close collaboration with product management and development teams.

More specifically, your work tasks will be:

  • Designing a technical solution from customer and stakeholder needs
  • Specifying the solution
  • Creating an architecture for the solution that satisfies the requirements and align with technological roadmaps
  • Sparring with development teams during implementation of solution
  • Sparring with product management in the creation of new products and solutions

To succeed in the job it is an advantage if you are familiar with requirements management, system architecture description and creating optimum systems from available building blocks.

Personality matters

We are looking for an ambitious and competent Systems Architect with drive and a pioneering attitude. Moreover, you have a professional background in engineering, computer science or similar and have at least 2-3 years of experience as a Systems Engineer, Software - or Systems Architect. Knowledge or certification within relevant standards would be an advantage ie. INCOSE Systems Engineering or TOGAF.

As a person, you are passionate about working with systems architecture and are able to work and collaborate in a distributed development organization with multiple teams. You have a natural authority by virtue of your skills and experience, but you also understand that good solutions are created in daily cooperation with your colleagues. Finally, you place high demands on yourself and others, and therefore you do not compromise on the quality of your work.

The job requires fluency in written and spoken English.
