If you can answer yes to these questions, you may be the intern we are looking for in Business Support, Sourcing Operations, Bagsværd.



About the department

Sourcing Operations (SoOp) is the central purchasing area in Product Supply, responsible for inbound supply chain for the thousands of materials going into productions worldwide. We are 10 project managers & supply chain analysts in Project & Data Office, among others responsible for supporting this complex setup in becoming still more effective and efficient.



The job

We are currently looking for an analytically strong and ambitious Supply Chain intern, who can analyze large data sets to uncover interdependencies and bottle necks in the flow of materials.



We are initiating supply chain projects to further optimize and stabilize our inbound supply chain and release flow. Your main role will be to participate in improvement projects and drive data based supply chain analyses primarily within forecasting & capacity planning. Additionally, you will produce ad hoc analyses with the aim of supporting the management decision-making.



You will be teamed up with an experienced supply chain analyst and project manager giving you a good platform to a fast learning curve to e.g. develop your skills and knowledge of the Novo Nordisk supply chain.



Qualifications

You are studying a relevant degree (i.e. in Business, Engineering or Supply Chain Management) with excellent results, and you have high competency level of MS-Excel.



As a person, you have an analytical mind-set and you know how to get to the core of complex problems and make them understandable for others. You have a passion for supply chain, have the ability to explore various possibilities and structure your own work. Furthermore, you possess good communication skills and are keen on coordinating and navigating between many stakeholders in a busy environment. Lastly, you speak and write English fluently.



Practicalities

Requirement: Students in their first or second year of their master studies. Period: The internship position is a full-time position for 4-6 months.
