Do you have a solid understanding of supplier quality improvements and a proven track record working closely with suppliers around the world? And do you have experience performing audits in a technical environment? Then the position as Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) at Danfoss Refrigeration & Air Condition might be the opportunity you are looking for. This is a job where you will play a key role securing the quality and reliability of the suppliers used in our business unit. You become part of a SQE team of four competent and dedicated colleagues working with teams across Procurement, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chains and Incoming Inspection. The position is located in Kolding and you can expect 30-40 travelling days a year, mostly within Europe and the Far East. Improvement of supplier quality and availability' You will report directly to the Inbound Quality Manager and your prime objective is to build relations with suppliers and drive operational supplier quality tasks. You will focus on our strong relations with our key stakeholders and your mission will be to improve the quality, reliability, and performance of our suppliers. This in order to ensure alignment in our international business unit. Other tasks will include to: •act as the technical contact between the factory and the suppliers and planning/coordination of quality activities •handle supplier complaints and follow-up on corrective actions at the suppliers •report and follow-up on the quality performance of the suppliers •be a part of the approval process of new and changed components from the suppliers •participate in product development and other supplier related projects •process audits at the suppliers Strong knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes and solid communication skills You have an educational background in engineering or similar, and you have a strong knowledge of quality assurance and quality management systems, preferably TS16949. Through your previous jobs you have obtained a wide knowledge of several industrial manufacturing processes and you have experience with internal or external quality audits from the production industry. You have excellent communication skills and possess a good understanding of other cultures. You work independently, systematically, and are result orientated, and at the same time you are a good team player. You speak and write English fluently, and due to the language spoken in the factory Danish skills are an advantage.
