Currently we are looking for Stress Engineer for Alten Group in Belgium. You will participate in the development of A330 WV080 Slats (design phase and certification).
Main tasks:
-FEM loading, processing & results extractions
-Static structural analysis of slats boxes & supports
-Modification of finite element models
-Writing check stress/certification reports
Requirements:
-Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering Degree
-3-4 years of experience in stress office for structural analysis of A/C structures:
o Load introductions;
o Stiffened panels (post buckling behaviour, stringer analysis);
o Thin walled multicell structures
o Bond / Riveted assemblies
Skills :
o stress methods applied to metallic (Bruhn, Roark, Niu,..)
o good knowledge of Finite Element Tools (Samcef or NASTRAN).
-Other tools: CATIA V5, Microsoft tools, Unix work stations
-Languages: fluent English. French is highly valuated
-Others: experienced in structural analysis reporting (check stress and certification reports), team work, must be capable of working to deadlines and to follow the calculations procedures developed internally.
