Develop both a frontend and a backend for logistics planning software, Back-end should contain intelligent algorithms for planning containers and business logic to be integrated into external parties like a TMS. Next to BackEnd a so called FrontEnd/User Interface should created etc. We are a young and dynamic company in search of enthusiastic people that fit within our team consisting of a mix of Operations Research experts, university professors, data scientists, IT and business professionals. *Job description: The goal of the job is to develop both a frontend and a backend for logistics planning software; The back-end should contain intelligent algorithms for planning containers and business logic to enable Waypoint to be integrated into external parties like a TMS (Transport Management systems). Next to the BackEnd a so called FrontEnd / User Interface should be created which enables end-users to manage (Create, Read, Update, Delete) several data entities like Terminals, Ships or Containers. The Frontend should enable the user to plan the to-be-transported goods onto ships. *Requirements: You must have decent experience with Algorithm Development. As for the Software Stack, you need to have experience with the following; Backend; Java 17 (Spring boot, JHipster, Apache Ignite) , C++(c++17 is a must, c++20 would be nice) and Python Frontend; Angular, preferrably with 14 or newer Database; Postgres and SQL CI/CD; Jenkins, Ansible, Azure Devops Provicience in English is a must and Dutch is a plus. Worklocation: Office in Delden - the Netherlands (7491EA) or Remote in the Netherlands.

Reasonable oral- and excellent knowledge of the English language.
