Purpose
As a Head Waiter (Waiter A), you will support all operations related to the smooth functioning of your station, ensuring the maintenance of high service standards, strict adherence to health and safety regulations, and the achievement of operational goals.
Responsibilities
- Perform station preparation (mise en place) to ensure readiness for service.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the food menu and wine list.
- Serve guests in accordance with the Group’s established hospitality standards.
- Organize and maintain the cleanliness of the work area at all times.
- Monitor inventory and supplies at your station and provide regular updates to your immediate supervisor.
- Communicate promptly with your supervisor regarding any issues or concerns.
- Degree or Diploma in Hospitality/Tourism Studies
- Minimum 2 years of experience within the Food & Beverage department of a 4* or 5* hotel.
- Excellent proficiency in English (both written and verbal).
- Good working knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Proficiency in POS systems (point-of-sale / order-taking software).
