Senior Maintenance Supervisor (3 positions)
You will be working alongside and leading a dedicated engineering workforce ensuring operational excellence, within workshops, for continuous slab casting & hot and cold rolling equipment. You will lead, by example, during proactive and reactive repair / maintenance routines.
In addition, you will be expected to, within the detail job description associated with each role:
- Perform all administrative duties associated with a Senior Maintenance Supervisor Role
- Liase closely with Workshop & Planning Managers to ensure compliance to set standards of workshop activities
- Maintain and develop agreed SOP and SWP set standards, relative to both casting and rolling equipment workshop assets
- Create and distribute on time periodic reports, relative to workshop and personnel performance.
- Set and maintain operational excellence standards of safety in the workplace
You will have attained, as a minimum, recognized mechanical engineering qualifications relative to the role.
Additionally, important to us:
- Significant and provable work experience within the steel making industry (casting and rolling preferable) or comparable
- Experience in performing duties associated with a “workshop” Senior Maintenance Foreman role
- Methodical approach to work – Team payer driven
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Sound knowledge and experience in MS Office and SAP/ERP system
- Sound knowledge of English, both verbal and written – optional
- Willingness to learn new technologies and to develop new skills as required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
