Job Description

Keepit.com is expanding and we are looking for a candidate with great ambitions and a good structure to be part of our web-based software development team for Keepit working closely together with our backend development team bringing to life the great features of the next version of Keepit.

You will be responsible for the design, implement and maintenance of the different features made available in our web-based client used by clients and partners globally. The development is strongly tied to our application server consumed through a fully RESTful API. We anticipate a strong technical mind coupled with a visionary outlook and ability to work closely together with the team.

Desired Skills & Experience

Required skills and experience

• 3+ years experience in developing of Web-applications using JavaScript
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles
• Good knowledge of the Web-stack (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX)
• Knowledge of HTML5 specifics and experience in using its features from JS code
• Advanced client-server communication technics (Server Sent Events, socket.io)
• Experience in development of intelligent and adaptive interfaces
• flair for UI concepts & design
• cross browser development
• ability to write simple Java applet to get access to local file system and upload folders with data
• team player, but with high degree of ability to work independently
• upper-intermediary level of English for daily written and weekly video calls communication
• person who is gladly willing to share knowledge within the team
• willingness to take initiative and suggest alternative ways of solving problems
• quick learner, self-starter
