Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort is one of Finland's best-known and most talked about travel destinations. This family business, founded in 1974, is located in Saariselkä, Lapland. Kakslauttanen hosts around 60,000 visitors each year, the majority of them from abroad. The guests include several high-profile visitors, media and international filming crews. Among others, Kakslauttanen has served as the location for Ralph Lauren and Vogue fashion shoots, the new TV show from Top Gear creators, The Grand Tour, Sports Illustrated as well as hundreds of travel programmes. During the winter season, the hotel employs over 100 people from 25 different countries. The working language at the hotel is English. We are looking for positive, outgoing and cheerful elfs with great customer service skills to work during the next winter season 2019-2020. You would be part of Santa's team to guide and host guests on Meet Santa - programme. Employment will commence in November 2019 and last until mid-January 2020. As December is the peak month, working days can be sometimes very busy.
The role will involve:
Guiding guests outdoors Telling stories to guests Spreading Christmas spirit Escorting groups Shop and cafe assistant tasks, including handling cash machine
Desired qualifications, skills and experience: Fluent in written and spoken English. Other languages are considered an advantage. Previous experience of working in an international environment A proactive attitude and excellent customer service skills Ability to work independently Singing or playing instrument skills are considered an advantage A driving license is considered an advantage
