Sales Manager - Central and Northern Europe

EURES Veneto is seeking a Sales Manager to join a leading multinational company involved in the production and distribution of batteries for vehicle starting systems and industrial applications. 

The role is based in Montecchio Maggiore (VI), Italy, and involves managing sales in Central and Northern Europe.

Key responsibilities:

• Developping and managing annual sales budgets, ensuring achievement of set targets in the assigned regions.
• Increasing revenue by expanding business opportunities within the area, including identifying new markets or recovering existing ones.
• Managing relationships with customers and agents, overseeing negotiations and post-sales activities.
• Regularly visiting existing customers and actively seeking new clients and business opportunities.
• Collaborating with the Sales Manager to develop new projects and initiatives aimed at boosting sales and improving service levels.
• Setting annual sales goals and reassess forecasts on a monthly basis.
   

The role is mainly focused on Central Europe, but will temporarely include managing sales operations in the Nordics, UK, and Ireland.

• Educational background: Technical diploma or Master's degree.
• Languages: Fluent professional knowledge of English and German.
• Technical skills: Good command of CRM software and MS Office.
• Soft skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills; goal-oriented and results-driven.
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in a similar sector.
• Travel availability: Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
