PROJECT MANAGER AUTOMOTIVE

We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join our team and provide essential support in upholding quality standards throughout the organization.

Following is the description of the open position:
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES-
You will be responsible for the following activities:

• Manage ECRs during project development phase and SOP.
• Take the lead on the different project teams.
• Ensure compliance between customer standards (CSR) and requirements during project development phases.
• Full support of technical and commercial communication.
• Lead project management related communication with Customers, Suppliers and internal project teams.
• Coordinate and follow-up of all department activities linked to the project (ECR included).
• Be a key figure between production project and customers.
• Support customers through the full phase of new projects, engineering changes, launch and quality issues.
• Improve the organization and work methods of local project teams (quality engineers, test engineers, process engineers, tool experts, injection molding engineers).
• Follow the cost of the core team and take the lead on the APQP.
• Build strong relationships with customers to create a long term partnership and new business together with the Key Account Manager.
• Responsible for the complete PSW (signed by customer) and the plan’s acceptance signed at SOP +3 months.
• Maintain the prices during the project phases and new investments with ECR.
• Responsible of the project KPI's (Planning, Budget, timing, …).

YOUR PROFILE - This position requires the following skills and attributes:

• You preferably have a MASTER degree in Economics or Engineering.
• Experience: Min. 2 years in project management in automotive environment.
• Ability to manage project quotations, to understand and use financial means behind numbers..
• Good knowledge of molds, raw materials, injection molding processes and development of new processes is a plus.
• Knowledge of decorations and measurement techniques is a plus.
• Read and understand 2D/3D Drawings.
• Applied knowledge in automotive problem solving tools, ISO, IATF, quality system APQP, VDA, 8D, R@R, ….
• Risk management and decision making skills.
• MS Office Software, project management software (MS Project).
• Working knowledge of an ERP system.
• Open to travel up to max. 20% of the time.
• Holder of a B driving license.
