PROJECT MANAGER
JOB DESCRIPTION
As part of a development and growth program on behalf of our client we are looking for a Technical Project Manager.
Business Need / Purpose of Role:
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented team player who will handle and coordinate all the resources from a technical standpoint.
Technical Project Manager (TPM) reports to the General Management of the Company. Most of his activities are during the project execution with the following main duties:
- He/she is the main technical point of contact for the Customer.
- He/she is responsible for the project control (time&cost), interacting with the team involved in the project execution.
- He/she coordinates and leads the technical activities related to the project, following the design and supply of main items/equipment;
- Subject to project needs, he/she provides support and assistance in coordination of various technical issues related to equipment and skid construction, testing, and delivery;
- He/she coordinates all technical interfaces between the Company and contractors/suppliers in order to manage and expedite the progress and to contribute to solving possible claims and issues.
Objectives & Measurement Key Responsibilities and Specific Accountabilities:
The main activities of the TPM are:
- Creating project documents based on project deliverable list
- Knowing project documents status through the Document Management system and related progress.
- Being part of the document’s approval workflow, according to the project document list
- Being part of periodical project progress meetings with Customer
- Being part of technical alignment meeting / calls also at Customer’s site.
- Monitoring project costs: planned vs actuals
- Monitoring of the project milestones to promptly submit related invoices.
- Handling potential Change Orders.
- If requested, supporting the Quality Engineer during witnessed inspections with Customers’ reps.

Executing project plans; communicates changes and progress; completes assigned tasks on time and budget; manages its own daily schedule based on assigned activities.

Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in working in engineering and construction of oil&gas projects. Specific experience in skid mounted units is a plus.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- Well developed skills in both written and spoken English.
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Works well in group.
