issuu is crafting the world's greatest publishing experience and revolutionizing reading for the 21st century. As a product owner at issuu you'll be in the driver's seat making that happen. We have a small product group trusted with shaping the future of our products. Our product is the driver of everything in the company, so being a product owner here means you will have a great deal of responsibility for the most critical decisions we make.
The product owners are charged with coming up with innovative solutions that solve real problems for our customers, ensuring the effective market release of products by communicating with marketing, BD and customer care, protecting the sprints to ensure that development teams are able to be most effective and demonstrating true ownership by defining product success and following up to make sure that it’s achieved.
Who you are
?5+ years experience developing and managing web-based products and solutions in an agile environment, preferably where teams have not been co-located.
?Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams by motivating and inspiring creative talent and ability to manage multiple projects with distinct requirements and timelines.
?Must be a high-energy, self-starter who thrives in entrepreneurial and collaborative environments; must have worked in a startup.
?Launching and growing products in multiple markets globally.
?Problem solver with solid analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back assumptions. Basic knowledge of SQL.
?Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate with business, UX, editorial and technology teams.
