About the department

As our new Packing Engineer, you will join our packing and technical support team, located in Kirke Værløse. You get the opportunity to join a diverse and high performing team of 10 colleagues with a variety of backgrounds within engineering, technicians and marine engineers. We use our differences to create novel ideas and high-quality solutions to ensure continuous improvement of our packing lines. Our workday unfolds in an environment where the pace is high, and our contribution to the production of pens is felt on a daily basis. The position As Packing Engineer, you will be part of the team supporting all the needs of the line. We spend a lot of time on shop floor support, building relations and making sure that we fully understand the reality of everyone involved in the actual production – from operators and skilled workers to specialist and technicians. Whenever an issue arises – and preferably before – we facilitate the problem solving and the development of corrective and preventive measures that will allow the production to continue. Some upscaling challenges remain, which is where you and the rest of the team will play an instrumental part in overcoming the hurdles that limit our maximum capacity unnecessarily.

Your main responsibilities will be:

In close collaboration with operators, technicians, supporters, and Quality Assurance (QA), you will solve a broad range of tasks such as process improvements, resolving complex issues on the packaging line, supporting projects. Analysing and Tracking of data Ensuring that everything runs in accordance with the regulatory requirements of a pharmaceutical production, so we can release our products for the patients who need it. When sudden challenges arise in our production, it will be your responsibility to ensure that action is taken so problems can be solved fast and efficiently. Securing optimised performance of the production lines by having an eye for improvement initiatives, optimization possibilities and LEAN activities within quality and productivity

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical engineering, Production engineering, or similar. 1-5 years of relevant experience with validation techniques, automation or digitalisation at the production line, ideally from the pharmaceutical industry. Stakeholder management experience as you will work closely with technicians, operators, suppliers but also with the management Working proficiency in spoken and written Danish and English is essential. Technical and analytical mindset is as strong requirement. Since quality and precision is essential in the pharmaceutical industry, it will also be important that you have a quality mindset, and that you want to work with written documentation

The level of complexity and responsibility will depend on your experience. Therefore, your background is not as important, we value your technical skills and mindset higher. It is essential that you have technical flair, and a curious nature that enables you to understand our processes.As a person you are a good problem solver, and you thrive in a dynamic environment where there are always more problems to solve, and tasks to dive into. That is why it is important that you adapt easily and can switch between tasks quickly. Moreover, you are communicative and extravert, enjoy taking initiative and are ready to take actions if needed. We would also appreciate your open attitude and some good sense of humour that you can bring to the team.

We are eager to ensure that you will find it as easy as possible to succeed in the position, so together, we will prepare a thorough on-boarding plan that will allow you to properly get to learn all the people, places and processes you will work with. In addition, you will receive adequate training and certifications as needed.
