For our Jack Up Operations department we are looking for Service Technicians to help us solve some of the most technically difficult challenges we face offshore. The Jack-Up team is part of the Power Generation Service organization within Siemens Wind Power A/S. In the team we handle the main component exchanges on off-shore turbines globally, comprising the planning, manning, commercial aspects, manage/monitor the execution of the operations, procurement of parts and components for the operations.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

You have a background as an electrician, mechanic, marine engineer or the like. Furthermore you have Off-shore work experience and relevant training to go off-shore (preferably a level 7 technician). You posses extensive IT working skills (Windows and MS Office skills). As a person you are independent and able to work and act in small teams and remote areas. You are flexible and efficient, keeping an open mind and seeing changes and problems as opportunities instead of obstacles. This makes you able to adapt to the rapidly changing demands and find workable solutions. In this position it is also important that you are professional, work-focused and reliable. Furthermore you are prepared for working 24/7 all year round following the 2 weeks onboard/2 weeks home schedule) You have great interpersonal skills, a strong cultural awareness and excellent communication skills. You possess great English skills, both orally and in writing (please note that we expect your CV and cover letter to be in English). In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
