Nuclear Instrumentation Engineer

We are looking for an Instrumentation Engineer specialized in Nuclear sector

Job description:

• Management of hardware qualification process of instrumentation Equipment regarding nuclear safety
• Research of substitute products for obsolete nuclear qualified equipment
• Meet experts assigned by Suppliers, Client, Safety Authority, etc
• Draft specifications and technical requisition files for purchasing of Instrumentation equipment
• Draft qualification programs according to current referential
• Evaluation and choice of test laboratories
• Place orders and follow up of the Contract
• Follow up of qualification tests
• Draft meeting and hardware qualification reports
• Present and defend hardware qualification in front of the Client and the Nuclear Safety Authority
• Perform Quality Audits of suppliers of qualified equipment
• Perform Type Test Audits of suppliers of qualified equipment in Belgium and abroad and draft audit reports
• Provide support, related to hardware qualification, for Instrumentation and Control System projects in Nuclear Power Plants

Profile:

• Electricity/Electrical Engineer of equivalent
• Experience in Electricity and Instrumentation in nuclear sector
• Capable to write technical documents and synthesis reports
• Mother tongue is Dutch or French and you are fluent in English
• Certification BA4 / BA5 / VCA / Nuclear
