Network and Security Operations Specialist
Job Description
• monitoring security and compliance of web based applications and aiming to minimize organization´s risk to breaches and data loss
• interpreting correlated data from security monitoring platforms (SIEM, web application firewall etc)
• helping organization to mitigate risk, as well as assist in meeting compliance requirements
• identifying and analyzing with new kind of threats based on content of web-service
• working with security incidents
• managing security escalations within the team and relevant stakeholders
• monitoring and solving security related issues
• follow up alarms and false positives
• IT Security related documentation preparation and improvement
• Drive efforts to improve and further build out the security monitoring tools
• Maintain knowledge of current security trends and be able to clearly communicate them to the team
Requirements to Candidates
• Deep knowledge of threats in the internet
• Experience with OWASP
• Experience with SIEM tool like Arcsight (preferably certificates)
• Detailed knowledge of security technologies and trends
• Working knowledge/experience of network systems security principles and applications
• Ability to apply very good technically oriented concepts to problem solving.
• Work effectively across functional teams
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or correlated field; industry certifications preferred (CISSP, CISA, CEH, GSEC, CCNA Security)
• Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and written
• Fluent English
