Lean Engineer

Our Business Unit Pharmaceutical Systems is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of special glass tubes and pharmaceutical primary packaging made of glass and polymers. We are looking for a Lean Engineer who will be located at Lukácsháza, Hungary and work for local operations.

Lean Engineer

Your profile:

• Engineering degree (mechanical engineer, machine construction or electrical engineering)

• English fluent spoken and written is a must

• 1-2 years’ experience in production, logistics, maintenance, engineering, project management, production cost analysis, Lean manufacturing

• Strong understanding of Lean methods (especially 5S, SMED, KAIZEN) and CIP

• Proven know-how in manufacturing processes with using Lean toolset, coordinate monitor and measure the introduction of the development projects

• Good presentation skills

Your tasks

• Continuously cooperates with the leaders of improvement projects, monitors the progress of projects

• Supports the project teams with lean methods

• Participates in development of the Lean roadmap, update of the roadmap in cooperation with the Lean manager and plant management

• Creates proper documentation about the improvement activities

• Collects, publishes and fosters best practices

• Defines Lean measures in cooperation with site management and Lean management

• When required leads workshops in different topics and documentation of results

• Prepares Lean trainings and executes them

• Leads and promotes the company`s suggestion system

• Supports the central lean team and consultant companies when necessary

• Supports 5S activities in the entire plant
