Junior Project Manager

The Junior Project Manager will be supporting the R&D Manager with regard to projects and programs managing, in particular to planning, executing and finalizing the project management work in accordance with the agreed deadlines. The Junior Project Manager will be coordinating the project team, managing relationships with customers, suppliers and with all stakeholders both internal and external to the company.  

RESPONSIBILITY

The Junior Project Manager will take care of:

• supporting the R&D Manager in the structured management of one or more projects:
  • starting the project by defining the scope, the purpose and its macro-requirements.
  • planning the project by developing the work plan (WBS, deliverables, resources, costs, risks)
  • executing and monitoring the project by managing its progress and guiding the team in solving problems or in the event of requirements changes.
  • closing the project by verifying and submitting the deliverables and managing the Lesson Learned.
• Managing and leading relevant project meetings and reporting.
• Interfacing with stakeholder, managing periodic communications and/or requests for support or supply.
• Drawing up the monitoring reports of projects and projects portfolio attending periodic meetings with Area Managers and Directors.
• Collaborating on the definition and maintenance of the Project Management Plan.
• Collaborating with the functional managers of the R&D dept. and with the Administration, Finance and Control office on presentation and management of financed projects.

• Master’s degree in Engineering Management, Automation and IT Engineering;
• Deep knowledge of Project Management processes with Waterfall and/or Smart approach;
• Knowledge of MS Project Online and PWA;
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical and IT elements will be considered a plus;
• Problem solving and conflict management skills;

• Autonomy, proactivity and leadership skills;
• Good knowledge of English.
