Internship DevOps Engineer
Milestone Systems is a global leader within open platform video management software (VMS) for IP network-based video surveillance, dedicated to deliver high quality business video platform software. Our objective is to improve our community customers’ organizational processes and safety level through the management, integration and distribution of digital video data.
THE DEPARTMENT
The team is responsible for creating a robust framework for testing the functionality and integrity of our products in a complex software configuration. Our software is of uncompromised quality because it runs mission critical infrastructure and we provide a framework for ongoing monitoring of the current product release.
We work in a Scrum environment and take great pride in rapid development and pragmatic solutions that will help to improve the scalability, reliability and quality of our products even further. As we are working closely together with our development sites in Spain and Bulgaria, cross site corporation should be expected.
THE POSITION
We established this internship program many years ago and it has for many been a steppingstone to a wonderful career in Milestone. We are looking for a highly motivated student/graduate who wants to be a part of the team and help us ensure that our testing infrastructure is running, as well as take it to the next level. The ideal candidate checks of several of the following bullet points.
- Being a good programmer who is curios and loves problem solving
- Experience with object-oriented programming, such as C#. But experience with F# is a plus
- Basic knowledge of Virtual Machines, Docker and networking and DevOps work
- Strong motivation, high level of commitment, proactive and positive attitude
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
- RESPONSIBILITIES
You will join the team and help maintain and develop our infrastructure. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Continue to improve our framework with better tools and capabilities for our users.
- Develop and maintain our infrastructure and make sure it is running 24/7
- Orchestration, monitoring and troubleshooting of our running system
- Support the teams writing tests and help them use the system
- iOS and Android experience are a plus

The internship is a paid position and you will according to Danish norms be working 37 hours a week and have 6 weeks of paid vacation.
