As International Field Service engineer you are responsible for maintenance and repairs, but you will also be involved in construction phase and operational commissioning. This position requires frequent travel and intercultural awareness.  FUNCTION Fixing breakdowns and carrying out maintenance, overhaul and installation work in relation to mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and process engineering on all the relevant installations on ships Provide support to local shipyards with the operational commissioning of ships Give instructions/training to third parties in relation to the operation, use and maintenance of the ship Administration and project reporting PROFILE • Bachelor/engineer in marine engineering, with a good knowledge of propulsion and auxiliary systems and +5 years of relevant experience• Fluency in English, willing to learn Dutch• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical engineer and diesel engines• Valid navigation certificate between 1500 kW and 6000 kW• Able to work independently• Customer oriented, stress resistant with excellent problem-solving skills• Willing to travel frequently• Willing to relocate
