Do you want to be part of a small team at a cozy, family-run hotel in Frederikshavn in the northern part of Denmark? Are you a flexible, structured morning person and good at making guests feel welcome? Then you might be our new receptionist at Hotel Lisboa. We are looking for a colleague with experience in the hotel industry, who wants to be part of our small team.

 

The tasks mainly consist of:

• Check-in and check-out of hotel guests.

• Answer guest inquiries by e-mail and telephone.

• Updating of various booking portals.

• Daily reception tasks.

• Serving guests in the breakfast restaurant

• Preparation and clearing of breakfast buffet

• Cleaning of common areas

• The job includes changing hours as well as weekend shifts 

 

Ideally, we would like you to have experience with the use of booking systems and knowledge about booking platforms. We expect you to have experience with working at a hotel, and preferably as a receptionist, and thus also with the many tasks in the reception. We expect you to be able to communicate fluently in English – both orally and in writing. Being able to understand basic Danish, German, Swedish and Norwegian is also an advantage, but not a requirement. In addition, you must be flexible, service-minded, a good colleague and interested in solving many different tasks. We are committed to providing good service, and therefore we expect you to be outgoing in terms of talking to guests, introducing them to the hotel and guiding them to good experiences in the area.

Hotel Lisboa is a small family-run hotel in the southern part of Frederikshavn in the scenic Bangsbostrand. We have 32 newly renovated rooms in Nordic style, a breakfast and evening restaurant, as well as a bar and cozy lounge area. We have great facilities for guests who enjoy cycling, hiking, and other outdoor activities. In addition, we have a cozy restaurant, Restaurant Møllehuset (the Old Millhouse), which is located 600 meters from the hotel in the Bangsbo forest by the stream.

The job is 30 hours per week and the working hours are either between 6.30 AM and 2.00 PM or from 2.00 PM to 10.00 PM on weekdays and weekends. Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with qualifications and the applicable collective agreement.
