Global Transportation Services Business Intelligence Analyst (m/f)

DESCRIPTION DESCRIPTION Our team is responsible for Amazon's connectivity to deliver billions of shipments each year. We design models to generate the best routes for our customers out of possible millions of combinations. We optimize the way we model reality in to our systems to scale on decision making through automated processes. We are looking for a tech enthusiast to develop these models and improve our routing flow at EU/worldwide level. You will analyze big data sets looking for improvement opportunities, and code these in the modes to optimize our system's decision making using AWS pipelines to deploy them. Responsibilities include: · Be able to dive deep the different Amazon data which defines its supply chain · Find opportunities for optimization challenging current status quo and prioritize business needs · Develop analytics to find opportunities to maximize our KPIs · Move optimization algorithms and automation logics from design to prod · Code complete pipelines using AWS infrastructure guaranteeing its robustness · Provide visibility and valuable insights to the business thru BI · Work with multiple teams in cross functional projects BASIC QUALIFICATIONS · Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math or other technical field · Advanced Python and knowledge in other programming languages · Probability and Statistics · SQL · Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google) · Experience with big data sets · Proven analytical thinking with a natural tendency to use data in decision-making and prioritization PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS · Advanced or Master's degree in computer science/probability&statistics · 2+ years of experience in BI/data science field · Java · Javascript · Spark · CSS
