Food and Beverage Personnel
Main Purpose of Job
To aid in the smooth and efficient running of the Restaurant Department, ensuring that all guests receive the level of service required in a four Star Hotel.
Main Duties
To attend any staff training as required by management
To ensure you are trained on safe use of all equipement
Mis En Place
To ensure your department is set up/ready for service, if not, remain until all tasks have been completed.
To ensure that you are present and ready for work at your rostered time.
To ensure work stations are of the highest standard and ready for service.
Service
To follow all the departments standard operating procedures
To report to management and guest complaints
To report to maintenance any maintenance issues
To assist in banqueting service if required
Ensure all guest requirements regarding their meal, their wine and their location in the restaurant are met and exceeded.
Sales
To Increase sales in your department whenever possible
To impart Hotel services and local knowledge to the guest whenever the opportunity presents itself
Miscellaneous
To ensure all equipement is in good working order
To be flexible in down times to assist in other departments where needed e.g in banqueting or Bar departments for service.
