Experienced Auto Locksmith - Dublin

Job Summary

As our is company expanding, we are currently recruiting for an Experienced Auto Locksmith to work in the Dublin area. We are particularly looking to hear from candidates who are fully flexible and available to work for business needs and who are searching for a new challenge, and want to provide the best customer experience possible to our customers.

Typical duties include:

• Install, repair, and open locks of all types and makes.
• Rebuild, change, and service mechanical or electrical locks using special equipment.
• Installing, repairing, adjusting, and replacing locks for various car makes etc.
• Repair and replace damaged door and window locks, hinges, and electric locking release mechanisms
• Assist clients in unlocking doors when keys are lost or in changing lock combinations by inserting new pins into locksets
• Making duplicate keys when required.
• Maintain records and files of keying information and issued keys; maintains inventory of tools, locks, knobs, keys, and other related hardware
• Respond to requests for assistance to open locks which are stuck or for which user keys have been lost, such as car keys.
• Evaluate and recommend resolution of various security related should there be any issues.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of lock types such as abloy locks, key types, and key-cutting machines (Preferred)
• Experience and knowledge of auto/electronic Locks. 
• Maintenace/repairs experience (Essential)

Experience required :

• Locksmith: 2 years (Preferred)
• Electronics Repair: 2 years (Preferred)
• Mobile Patrol/Professional Driving experience (Preferred)
