We are seeking an exceptional Head Chef to lead the kitchen operations at a prestigious wine bar and restaurant located in the heart of Ballsbridge, Dublin 4. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fine dining, a flair for creating innovative menus, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Designing and creating innovative, seasonal menus
Managing inventory, ordering ingredients, and overseeing stock levels
Ensuring food preparation and cooking meet the restaurant's quality and safety standards.
Leading, training, and motivating kitchen staff to deliver consistent results.
Ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently and meets deadlines.
Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role
Proven expertise in menu creation, ingredient sourcing, and food preparation
Strong management skills with the ability to lead and inspire a team
A solid understanding of food safety, health regulations, and quality control
Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role
