Tasks and responsibilities
- active development work on Product Segment level according to the industrial quality standards
- active involvement in the technical discussions with customer development team
- support planning and supervision of development phases
- work with internal clients - employees in other sectors or units connected with the product development process
- continuous improvement activities (technical improvements and cost optimisations)
- support resource management activities - planning, interviews
- work in compliance with standards, methods, processes and tools
- proposing innovations in the field of new products, technologies and processes
- mentoring & knowledge sharing
- promoting safety and healthy work environment
- Analog and digital circuit analysis and design
- Performing simulations (electronic and electromagnetic) and detailed design analyses (e.g. worst case analysis)
- Measuring, testing and troubleshooting electronic circuits
- Power electronics circuit design
- Understanding and following development processes, relevant for automotive industry (e.g. HW-spice, ISO 26262)
- Review of customer requirements, with special emphasis on those related to HW, and preparing HW requirements
- Preparation of HW functional block diagrams (HW architecture)
- Collaboration with PCB design team and review of e-Layout designs.
- Supporting functional, electrical, EMC and environmental validation team.
- Analysis of warranties or claims of parts in the field
- Involvement in the design to cost, design to manufacture and design to test activities (e.g. coordination with the purchasing department for component selection)
Requisitos laborales
Skills and experience
- Master/Bachelor’s degree on electrical engineering or mechanical engineering or other technical profile
- 5 years of experiences working in the development department
- knowledge of R&D in industrial processes, PLM tools, Q standards and tools (ISO, IATF, VDA …)
- Experiences and knowledge of analog and digital electronics circuit analysis and design
- Experiences and knowledge of power electronics, reliability engineering, electromagnetic compatibility
- Experiences and knowledge of electronic and electromagnetic simulation
- Knowledge of electric motor operation and motor control
- Experiences in the automotive sector Experiences with ISO26262 and V model development processs
- Experiences with Altium Designer or similar eCAD tool
- Experiences with LT Spice or other electronic simulation tool
- Experiences with Mathlab or other mathematic scripting tool
- advanced knowledge of Automotive-SPICE standards
- knowledge in the field of introducing continuous improvement processes

- Payment in accordance with Slovenian law. Salary depends on knowledge, experience and skills.
