Key Responsibilities As Drilling Superintendent, you will be part of a team which is responsible for supporting our operational teams during critical phases of the operation and provide support during well control situations. You will have strong focus on industry best practice and operational trends and will liaise with the Performance and Process section on optimizing the performance of our units. This through improvement of processes and evaluation of new technologies. Maersk Drilling wish to increase the company wide understanding of our Customer’s needs and you will be an important part of providing that perspective. Who we are looking for You have 10 years’ experience with offshore drilling operations with focus on the operational aspects. Most likely you are Drilling Section Leader with experience from later generation drill ships or semi submersibles. As a person, you keep the bigger picture in view at all times, yet you also understand the importance of minding the details – from the minor to the larger ones. You have a keen interest in drilling operations and equipment and the optimization of such. Finally, you are skilled at managing change and constantly looking to challenge the norms to do things better.
