We are currently supporting ALTEN at a European level in searching for Diesel Engine Calibration Engineers for our various clients based in Belgium and in UK. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Validating the quality and robustness of engine calibration through endurance tests;
  • Scheduling follow-up endurance tests on vehicles in order to detect calibration problems and provide feedback to the team;
  • Gathering and analyzing the results and reporting to your project leader in line with the overall development schedule (milestones);
  • Performing vehicle tests for DPF regeneration and emissions monitoring;
  • Using application tools to improve them and to standardize the process.

The profile we are looking for:

  • University Degree in mechanical engineering and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in diesel engine calibration;
  • Experience and interest in engine development and car development in general;
  • Basic computer skills : Word, Excel (macros, charts);
  • Basic programming skills : Matlab, calibration;
  • Fluency in English. Other European languages are a plus;
  • You have an open personality and a hands-on mentality;
  • You are able to work independently;
  • You are highly motivated and persevering;
  • You have strong and efficient working methods.
