Then you could be our next Development Engineer at Danfoss Industrial Automation. Our business is characterised by a high growth rate driven by innovative solutions. As such you will join the Development & Reliability department in a dynamic, fast-growing organisation. Your responsibility covers development of pressure and temperature sensors for applications ranging from small hydraulic systems to large two-stroke engines. Drive and deliver innovative mechanical design Your primary focus is to drive and deliver innovative mechanical designs contributing to our new product platform for industrial sensors for harsh environments. Delivering solid results according to plan, in due time and high quality, is another of your success parameters. Aside from working closely with the other members of your team, you will benefit from a large surface of contacts internally within Danfoss as well as externally with suppliers and customers. Among your key tasks are:•Mechanical design of pressure and temperature sensors for various industrial applications, from concept to design using FMEA and other design tools •Release of products, including validation/verification testing and reporting •Structured problem solving on sensors •Design for assembly at the right cost and quality Innovative mindset and a will to win in collaboration with others You hold at least a BA in mechanical engineering or mechatronics and have the tools to drive innovation from idea to launch. Knowledge of and years of practical experience with industrial product development and electronics will be an advantage but not a requirement. You have a strong drive and therefore you know how to focus your efforts. You work persistently to achieve your goals, and you possess the cooperation skills to develop solid relations – also to external partners. You are customer-oriented and have a global mindset, and it motivates you to make a difference through innovation. Finally, your positive energy rubs off on your environment.
