Your role
As a Data Analyst, you will be integrated into client teams to drive advanced forecasting and segmentation initiatives, supporting strategic data-driven decisions.
You will work on projects such as the Data Decathlon Challenge, tackling topics like:
- Multi-horizon forecasting and segmented time series predictions
- Smart segmentation of training data
- Modeling strategies tailored to low-frequency, intermittent sales (e.g. “low-sellers”)
- Forecasting at new geographic scales (Country – Supply Zone)
- Incremental learning of forecasting models
- Probabilistic forecasting (distribution modeling, prediction intervals)
Your responsibilities will include:
- Building robust data pipelines using Spark / PySpark
- Developing and validating machine learning models for time series forecasting
- Working with Databricks and AWS for scalable data processing
- Analyzing large-scale datasets to extract actionable insights
- Collaborating with business teams to translate requirements into analytical solutions
- Presenting findings in a clear, visual, and business-impacting way
Job requirements
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or equivalent
- 4 to 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist
- Strong skills in Python and Spark / PySpark
- Experience with Databricks and AWS Cloud Services
- Solid understanding of machine learning techniques, especially in forecasting
- Familiarity with segmentation and time series analysis techniques
- Experience with probabilistic and incremental learning approaches is a strong plus
- Good communication and data storytelling skills
