
CUSTOMER SALES AGENT (RECEPTIONIST)
Hilton Malta is recruiting for a Customer Sales Agent (Receptionist) on Full-Time basis, within the Front Office Department. The successful candidate should be an energetic individual who enjoys working with people, possesses excellent communication and customer care skills and is fluent in the use of Computer systems. The position will assist in the following: 1. Welcoming guests to the hotel and ensuring an enjoyable and hassle-free stay. 2. Maximising revenue through Rooms and Food & Beverage up selling whilst managing other related targets set by the department. 3. Handling guest comments and queries and exceeding their expectations. 4. General Front Office duties. The candidate should have a smart appearance, a minimum of one-year experience in the hotel industry preferably within a five-star environment in a similar role, and an excellent command of the English language. The selected candidates need to be willing to work both day and night shifts as would be necessary. An ITS qualification (or equivalent), knowledge of the Opera system and knowledge of Maltese would be favourable considered. Other foreign languages especially Russian, German, French and Italian will also be considered an asset. All applications will be acknowledged and treated in strict confidence.
- Put telephone calls through to clients
- Register reservations and allocate occupation of rooms, apartments, bungalows...
- Collect clients' remarks on quality of reception, equipment, personnel
- Inform customer about organization services and reservation procedure
- Register follow-up data of activities (reservation/cancellation/sales...). Draft daily statistics reports (occupancy/average price...)
