The cook is responsible for preparing the required quantity of ingredients and ensuring the quality and correctness of both ingredients and dishes. This role involves preparing dishes, appetizers, and desserts according to established standards, cooking with proper techniques to ensure correct taste, and presenting dishes before serving in accordance with kitchen SOPs and property category. The cook handles ingredients properly, stores them according to HACCP standards, and maintains hygiene and cleanliness of the workspace and surfaces. Additionally, the cook uses kitchen inventory, equipment, and appliances properly and conscientiously to support efficient and safe kitchen operations.
- High school diploma
