Descripción de la oferta de empleo
Duties:
- To assist with the preparation and cooking of foods for the Restaurant, Coffee Shop, Room Service, Banqueting, to the required standards in accordance with the daily requirements of the Hotel.
- To assist with the preparation of the mis-en-place for the day’s requirements, and to prepare in advance in conjunction with the Banqueting list.
- To ensure a strict control of portions and wastage, to maintain the Gross Food Profitability.
- To ensure that the section is kept clean and tidy at all times, strictly observing the hygiene regulations.
- To use all machinery in a safe manner.
- To maintain the refrigerators / deep freezes in good working order and to defrost when necessary.
- To maintain a high standard of Personal Hygiene and appearance at all times.
- To have a clear understanding of the Hotel’s Fire Drill.
- To have a clear understanding of the Hotel’s Staff Handbook, and the regulations stated within.
- To carry out any other relevant duties as directed by Management.
Requirements:
- The applicants must speak Greek and English (any other language will be considered as an advantage)
- Ensuring service excellence according to the company’s standards
- Be able to remain calm under pressure conditions
- To work as part of a team and be able to meet the department’s objectives
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- At least one year of previous experience
