Quantity Surveyor 

Due to the development of new and existing projects we are excited to be recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyors to join our engineering team on a contract basis in Dublin. 

This is a contract position for 3-4 months with the potential for extension or a permanent position for a successful candidate.

Working alongside the Project Director, the role will be working within & assisting the team to ensure a successful project is delivered, while maintaining relationships, maximising commercial returns and manage risk.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing tenders, analysing, selecting appropriate s/cs, negotiation & finalise s/c orders, financial & commercial management of s/cs to Final Account completion.
  • Managing and reporting of forecasts, target, reconciliations, site records, document control, variation reporting, valuations, assisting in the site records & document control
  • Liaise with & commercially influence/challenge site management team whilst maintaining & protecting JSS commercial & contractual entitlement
  • Manage & oversee AQS & TQS, checking & taking responsibility for their work & sign-off SMM/measurement issues


We are currently responsible for multiple projects across Ireland and are continuing to grow and develop new projects with long-term, stable, career development opportunities.
 

Requisitos deseables

You will have:

  • 2+ years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor in civil/residential/commercial construction projects
  • A relevant 3rd level qualification
  • 2+ years’ experience in report writing, forecast planning and engaging with clients and senior leaders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
