You´ll become a key player in protecting Novozymes' confidential assets



Welcome to Corporate Information & Cyber Security, Novozymes IT

You will participate in setting the corporate security agenda ensuring Novozymes has a robust security posture that meets the current and future demands. 

You will be responsible for driving the corporate security governance and be a key part of the Corporate Committee On Security leading the execution of the security strategy



In this role you’ll make an impact by:

  • Leading and developing the employees in the security team according to Novozymes leadership principles
  • Secure and develop resources to fulfill the business target for the Security Strategy
  • Follow-up on overall performance relative to plan/goals and take corrective actions if needed
  • Control and manage costs within the Corporate Information & Cyber Security budget
  • Brief the Executive team and the Novozymes Security Committee on status and risks, including taking the role of champion for the overall strategy and necessary budget
  • Communicate IT and Security best practices and risks to all parts of the business, outside IT



List the areas of responsibility

  • Monitor and report potential security incidents based on defined metrics and use cases
  • Perform vulnerability scans and penetration tests and ensure needed mitigation are planned
  • Approve security policies, controls and cyber incident response planning
  • Assess weather suppliers live up to our security standards and requirements
  • Deliver KPIs to measure the effectiveness of information physical security programs
  • Constantly update the cyber security strategy to leverage new technology and threat information



To succeed you must hold:

  • Proven experience as a security professional with all aspects of security
  • Outstanding experience in Security policy & Risk management
  • Experienced with security frameworks (e.g. ISO27000, ISF SoGP) and risk management methodologies and familiar with setting up and managing an ISMS
  • Passionate for technology and security safeguarding with a desire to deliver
  • Thrives on change, showing an impressive ability to drive the security strategy forward
  • Always be able to “look ahead” and stay on top of things under pressure; a calm mind able to manage and lead through a potential disaster
  • Excellent communication skills – providing verbal and written communication that is outstanding to both direct reports and senior management as well as other stakeholders
  • Analytical mind capable of managing numerous information sources and providing data analysis reports to senior management
  • A MSc in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field; professional security management certification (e.g. CISM)
